His 1986 Masters gave the story its perfect closing chapter. Trailing on Sunday, he charged through Augusta's back nine, made eagle at 15 and birdied 16 and 17. At 46 he earned a sixth green jacket. Ranking him second is an editorial call, not a slight to the depth of his record.
